Job Summary
A financial services company has an open position for a Remote Network Security Director.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Directing, Managing & providing direction for projects, configurations, implementation, and maintaining all network security platforms
- Planning & appraising ongoing assessment of firewall, NAC, VPN, SSL, intrusion detection or intrusion prevention
- Articulating systems & methodologies as well as replying to security-related events & supporting in incident remediation efforts
Skills and Requirements Include:
- Strong in problem solving and analytic skills
- Must be able to influence and lead at various management levels without direct authority
- Good understanding of network security principles and tools with significant experience with design and deployments
- Technology field i.e. application development, architecture, information security, business process design, etc.)
- Project management skills
- Excellent writing and communication skills
