Job Summary

A software developer is filling a position for a Remote NOC Engineer II.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

  • Resolving production related issues
  • Troubleshooting recurring platform problems
  • Looking for automation opportunities in troubleshooting and administration tasks

Qualifications for this position include:

  • 3+ years of experience maintaining, managing and monitoring remote servers running Linux/Unix
  • 3 years’ experience in a 24x7 mission critical Network or Technical Operations Center environment
  • Drive and aptitude to investigate and learn about new technology and troubleshooting processes
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Experience with enterprise class monitoring/management system
  • Experience with basic networking concepts such as DNS, DHCP, NTP, TCP/IP, FTP, Firewalls
