Job Summary
A food manufacturing company is seeking a Remote Nutrition Health and Food Safety Intern in Redwood City.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Assisting the team in compiling and analyzing nutrient data for ingredients and prototypes
- Conducting research on nutrition, health, and safety implications of new ingredients
- Conducting an in-depth literature review on a relevant topic and writing a comprehensive summary
Position Requirements Include:
- Education in nutritional sciences or related science with coursework in human nutrition
- Experience reading and interpreting scientific literature
- Experience in scientific research methods
- Proficiency in math and basic statistical analysis
- Proficiency using G Suite applications, including Excel
- Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
