Job Summary
A non-profit health care system is seeking a Remote Organ Placement Coordinator.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Coordinating, evaluating, documenting, and communicating all donor organ referral calls
- Consulting and discussing organ suitability with on-call transplant surgeon/team
- Requesting additional laboratory testing and/or donor management changes as directed
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Minimum of four years experience in healthcare or hospital or laboratory technician roles
- Thorough understanding of medical terminology and interpretation of basic organ function vital signs/labs
- Demonstrated excellence in communication and customer service skills
- Ability to multi-task under pressure and appropriately prioritize actions to accomplish goals
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Demonstrated proficiency in computer skills
