Job Summary
A non-profit medical center is seeking a Remote Orthopedic Surgery Coding and Compliance Coordinator in Boston.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Conducting and supporting educational intervention where required
- Reviewing assignment of CPT & ICD-10 charges, apply modifiers if necessary
- Reviewing assignment of CPT& ICD-10 charges
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- In-depth knowledge of medical terminology, ICD-9 and CPT Coding conventions
- Certification from the AAPC is required or must obtain within 2 years of employment
- Requires knowledge of medical terminology and basic concepts of human anatomy, physiology, etc
- Certification from the AAPC is required or must obtain within 2 years of employment
- Associate's degree or equivalent combination of formal education and experience required
