Job Summary
A healthcare technology company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Orthopedics RCM Production Coder.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Provides support, education and training related to quality of documentation to aid in compliant coding
- Analyzes provider documentation to ensure accurate compliant coding
- Runs daily reports to ensure are capturing all necessary charges and perform internal reconciliation processes
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Minimum 1-year experience in Orthopedic surgery coding is required
- Minimum 2 years experience as a certified medical coder is required
- Certified COSC or must obtain COSC certification within first 6 months of employment
- Knowledge of CPT and ICD-10 coding, federal and state coding compliance regulations
- Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy
