Job Summary

A language technology solutions and consulting firm has a current position open for a Remote Paraguayan Guaran Linguist.

Must be able to:

• Develop a language profile on Paraguayan Guaran
• Check phonemic transcriptions of Paraguayan Guaran words
• Advise on Paraguayan Guaran spelling conventions

Qualifications Include:

• Background in linguistics and a familiarity with the language, at the level of a fluent native speaker
• Specific linguistic background in at least one of the following: Phonetics and phonology (candidates should be familiar with IPA); Paraguayan Guaran language variation; Paraguayan Guaran spelling conventions
• Able to read and write Paraguayan Guaran
