Job Summary
A hospital and healthcare system is filling a position for a Remote Patient Connection Center Associate III in Atlanta.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Serve as front-line support for the Patient Connection Center within healthcare organization
- Pre-register and schedule moderately complex procedures and coordinating multiple resources for patient services
- Identify patient medical record utilizing company’s process/policy
Qualifications for this position include:
- High school diploma or GED
- Two (2) years of related customer facing experience
- Ability to support an exceptional experience through all customer interactions by connecting caller needs with organizational resources, utilizing information from various applications
- Ability to respond to correspondence regarding scheduling changes/cancellations both written and oral in a timely, accurate manner
- Ability to assess and prioritize requests to include communicating accurate, pertinent information to external and internal customers
- Ability to maintain overall knowledge of the patient scheduling system in order to answer patient inquiries about insurance billing/payment and self-pay liability
