Job Summary

A physician-led healthcare staffing company is seeking a Remote Patient Coordinator in Knoxville.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

  • Building that immediate trust, provides compassion, and empathy while creating an electronic record of the call
  • Following customized guidelines to document the necessary medical information before a Nurse or Doctor speaks with the patients
  • Diversing clients and types of calls received range from specialties: family medicine, pediatrics, women’s health, behavioral health, oncology, endocrinology, etc

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED required. Associate’s Degree preferred
  • 1+ years of customer service experience. This includes Call Center / Medical Office / Clinic, front desk or first point of contact in a customer service environment
  • Excellent listening and comprehension skills to determine key information by patient
  • Professional, courteous telephone voice
  • Excellent organizational and computer skills
