Job Summary
An employee coverage provider company needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Payor Contracting Director Vice President in San Diego.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Developing, negotiating and maintaining contracts with all payers
- Maintaining existing relationships with contracted providers
- Actively participating in establishing strategic business goals with the Leadership Team
Position Requirements Include:
- Excellent contract negotiation skills
- Strong demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the healthcare industry, legal and regulatory requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience with hospital, clinic, physician, and/or primary care and health system contracting
- Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience
- Ability to develop and deliver presentations to internal and external groups
- Demonstrated strength in computer software, e.g., MS Office Suite, PowerPoint, social media, and internet-based research
