Job Summary

A human resources solutions company has an open position for a Remote Payroll Tax Compliance Analyst.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Researching new payroll tax compliance rules, and tracking upcoming changes and legislation
  • Identifying ways to improve our systems, processes, documentation, training and communications
  • Establishing metrics, prioritize new features and system enhancements using risk assessments

Required Skills:

  • 2+ years of relevant experience with payroll systems and/or payroll tax rules and regulations
  • Ability to handle internal and external escalations
  • Must have a strong interest in payroll requirements at the federal, state, and/or local levels
  • Ability to research and translate compliance changes into process-driven documentation for operational and engineering teams
  • Must have excellent communication skills and ability to provide status updates to engineering and customer-facing partners
  • Experience offering guidance and opinions to internal teams and/or customers regarding the best course of action using data and your payroll expertise
