A healthcare company has an open position for a Remote Peer Support Coordinator in San Diego.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Coordinating the monthly convening of military caregiver forums
- Coordinating caregiver outreach efforts targeted for installations
- Accessing and interpreting information necessary to evaluate how best to support caregivers
Position Requirements Include:
- Requires travel within southwest locations approximately travel 25% of time
- Bachelors degree
- 3+ years’ experience as a Caregiver, Social Worker, Counselor, or having worked in the Social Science field
- Veteran, military spouse or professional experience working with military service organizations
- Must have familiarity with rank, customs and courtesies of military environment
- Excellent interpersonal skills and initiative
