Job Summary
A pharmacy benefit management company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Pharmacy Benefit Management Database Administrator IV.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Create, monitor, and maintain company databases by responding to a variety of internal and external database customer requests
- Provide database back-up, archiving, monitoring, data analysis and troubleshoots data issues
- Assist with related task planning, training and technical direction of other DBA’s or IT software engineers and developers
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
- 8-12 plus years’ related experience
- Multiple programming languages and systems including those currently used in industry
- Oracle programming/databases, C, Pro C, SQL, PL/SQL, as well as a solid understanding of latest technologies/programming languages
- Thorough knowledge of software methodologies, distributed networking, databases, and multiprocessing applications
- Hardware architecture, disk arrays, drives and hardware capacity requirements
