Job Summary
An internet payment solutions company needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Platform Principal Architect.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Being involved with day-to-day design, implementation and operational discussions
- Mentoring other software engineers within the Platform Group
- Leveraging technology across all of the company to solve problems and influence design decisions
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Expert in of one of the following languages: Python (preferred), Node.js, Ruby, Java, Go
- Experience driving technical design decisions for highly scalable backend systems
- Leadership and mentoring skills and the ability to work with engineers across skill levels
- Experience with Cloud Platforms such as GCP, AWS, or Azure
- Experience with Docker, auto-scaling, serverless infrastructure
