Job Summary

A cloud service provider is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Platform Senior Software Engineer.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

  • Designing systems and software to provide platform solutions for our compute infrastructure
  • Building and deploying highly available APIs using Python
  • Working closely with SRE teams to ensure systems are manageable and reliable

Position Requirements Include:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Have 5 years of relevant experience
  • Able to work with SQA engineers to ensure systems are testable
  • Demonstrate fluency in using Python for API development
  • Experience using SQL databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL
  • Can understand modern software development life cycle processes
