Job Summary

An information technology company has an open position for a Remote Platform Software Engineer.

Core Responsibilities Include:

  • Developing new features and enhancing existing Mastercard proprietary platform software written in Python and Go Lang
  • Working closely with product managers and Operations teams to understand the system’s functional and non-functional requirements
  • Establishing realistic estimates for timelines and ensure that project remains on target to meet deadlines

Position Requirements Include:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Hands on experience with RHEL/CENTOS
  • Extensive programming experience using Python as a programming language
  • Hands on experience with Python 3.8 or above
  • Familiarity with Test Driven Development methodologies
  • Good knowledge of network protocols and client/server engineering
