An online publishing company is seeking a Remote Pop Culture Staff Writer in Boston.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Growing a following of engaged readers
- Helping proofread/edit colleagues' content regularly
- Making sure site has optimal mix of all content types and content verticals
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Degree in journalism or relevant field
- Superb writing skills (make us jealous of your stories)
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills
- 3 to 5 years being part of a digital editorial and production team
- Knowledge of AP Style
- Experience working with CMS; basic knowledge of HTML and Photoshop
