Job Summary

An international non-profit research organization needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Population Environmental Risk and Climate Change Research Assistant Intern.

Core Responsibilities Include:

• Providing logistical support on planning and organizing meetings (all-PERCC internal meetings, cross-Council seminars, others as requested)
• Providing support including conducting literature reviews, writing, creating bibliographies, and formatting tables for the Research Agenda
• Providing support including conducting literature review and writing for the gender, SRH and climate change working group report, support with synthesis of regional case studies

Qualifications Include:

• Enrolled in or recently graduated from a Masters Degree Program with at least 2 years of relevant work experience (internships are considered relevant work experience)
• Demonstrated excellent writing and communication skills, for both research and policy audiences
• Demonstrated ability to work independently in a remote-work environment, manage time efficiently, prioritize, and multi-task
• Ability to read and synthesize published articles and grey literature
• Ability to support with literature review and synthesis for a report in urban migration and adolescent girls/vulnerable groups
• Ability to draft sections of and copy-edit reports, briefs, presentations, and communications materials
