Job Summary

A technology company is filling a position for a Remote PostgreSQL Cloud Database Engineer.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

• Building new solutions and automation for the database systems in the cloud
• Monitoring and observability for the availability, latency, performance
• Working with product/SRE team to launch new database features or enhance capabilities

Required Skills:

• Proficient in one or more database technologies (PostgreSQL is required)
• 5 - 8 years of experience in hands-on deploying, and in-depth tuning of database solutions
• Experience in leading a large scale database topology design and deployment with HA, backup, disaster recovery, and security considerations
• Experience with the fast-paced, agile development team and customers satisfaction focused engineering team
• Experience in providing support and maintenance of production database systems as well as database migration
• Experience with log management tools, building monitoring dashboard
