Job Summary
A mortgage lender is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Pre Funding Senior QC Mortgage Underwriter.
Must be able to:
- Audit Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, FHA, VA, USDA, and Non-Agency loans
- Participate in the remediation of identified defects with Operations and Correspondent Sellers
- Monitor the progress of implementation of action plans based on quality control findings and results
Skills and Requirements Include:
- 10+ years mortgage industry experience
- 5 years recent Quality Control and Underwriting experience
- Demonstrated understanding of mortgage lending operations and industry
- Knowledge of FNMA, FHLMC, FHA and VA guidelines and Federal regulatory guidelines
- Basic knowledge of fraud detection
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, etc)
