Job Summary

A non-profit health care system is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Pre-Service Authorizations Representative.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

• Demonstrating a thorough understanding of insurance guidelines for scheduled services
• Demonstrating the ability to prioritize workload in order to accurately complete daily worklist
• Conducting internal/external customer interactions over the phone

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

• Knowledge as typically obtained through an Associate’s degree in Business, Hospital Administration or equivalent work experience
• Clear understanding of the impact financial counseling has on Revenue Cycle operations and financial performance
• Excellent written, verbal communication and interpersonal skills
