Job Summary

An information technology and services company needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Principal Database Administrator.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Act as the lead on mid to large size projects
  • Provide long-term planning for scalability of the database infrastructure
  • Establish and enforce all database standards

Qualifications for this position include:

  • Bachelor’s in IT or Computer Science or equivalent work experience
  • 10 years related experience to include in-depth experience in Database Administration
  • WS RDS and Microsoft SQL Server experience
  • Proven track record of building and leading successful Database team
  • Advanced knowledge of service levels and business impacts of system unavailability
  • Experience with AWS RDS, complex Microsoft SQL Server administration
