Job Summary
A cloud software company has an open position for a Remote Principal Database Administrator.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Providing architectural review and recommendations for new processes
- Providing guidance and support working with the 24x7 database administration team
- Conducting systematic performance tuning
Qualifications for this position include:
- 8+ years database experience
- Proven extensive experience with MS SQL Server and a passion to learn required
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related discipline, or equivalent
- Working experience managing and automating SQL Server with Powershell
- Strong decision-making skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, and customer service
