Job Summary

A cloud computing services company has an open position for a Remote Principal Mainframe Modernization Architect.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

Design AWS architectures which meet or exceed the requirements of workloads
Help customers architect scalable, highly available application solutions that leverage AWS services
Architect, develop and modernize customer applications/systems to be cloud optimized

Must meet the following requirements for consideration:

10+ years of hands-on technical experience with mainframe and non-x86 legacy systems
10+ years of hands-on technical experience with COBOL, JCL, CICS, DB2 for z/OS and Assembler
10+ years of hands-on technical experience with PL/I, Rexx, flat/sequential files, GDGs, and VSAM
10+ years of experience designing architectures for enterprise systems
10+ years of experience designing and deploying software and middleware solutions
5+ years of experience integrating mainframe and non-x86 legacy systems
