A company in the technology industry needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Principal Network Engineer in Alpharetta.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Developing architecture and designs and translate into service requirements
- Defining and implementing configuration standards across the network and platforms
- Maintaining and optimizing company's global MPLS backbone network
Qualifications for this position include:
- 10+ years' experience in Network Engineering and/or Operations environments
- Bachelor's Degree in Network Engineering or equivalent practical experience
- Hands-on experience with MPLS backbone networks running OSPF, ISIS, RSVP, LDP, and BGP
- Understanding of cultural differences
- Ability to work independently and as part of a group
