Job Summary

A financial company is filling a position for a Remote Privacy Law HIPPA Associate Counsel.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

Serve as key member of the Privacy Office
Provide advice/counsel across business lines relating to the organization’s legal rights
Collaborate with, and provide legal support

Qualifications for this position include:

Have earned a Juris Doctor or equivalent degree from an accredited law school
Be a current and active member in good-standing of a U.S. state and/or federal Bar Association
Have been a practicing lawyer for at least 5 years, with an emphasis on privacy
Be well-versed in data privacy under HIPPA, CCPA/CPRA, GDPR and other applicable and evolving regulations
Have experience drafting privacy policies and procedures
Possess excellent oral and written communications skills
