Job Summary

A staffing and recruiting agency has a current position open for a Remote Follow Up Procurement Specialist.

Core Responsibilities Include:

• Manage a core set of suppliers, specifically focused on accelerating deliveries
• Confirm supplier acknowledgements, and improving on time delivery
• Ensure a high level of material availability for Client's business which directly supports manufacturing

Position Requirements Include:

• BA degree in Business or Supply Chain or experience in lieu of a degree
• 5 years expediting and/or procurement
• Knowledge in SAP, supplier relationship management, and overall procurement skills
• The ability to lead without authority
• A knowledge of the procurement cycle that includes tangible deliverables and intangible services
