Job Summary
A computer software company is in need of a Remote Product Marketing Director.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Developing a working knowledge of products and concepts, and synthesize that knowledge into crisp, compelling messaging targeted at data engineers, data architects and analysts
- Producing high quality and useful content that communicates both the value and functionality of key product features
- Communicating customer requirements and providing input to product management on product enhancements and future product direction
Position Requirements Include:
- Bachelor’s degree in business or technology
- Demonstrated ability to position technical products to both technical and business buyers
- 5+ years of proven experience marketing highly technical products, ideally related to data management and/or analytics
- Understanding of prevailing and emerging data lake and analytics technologies in the cloud
