Job Summary

A healthcare company needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Professional Coding Specialist.

Core Responsibilities Include:

  • Coding claims directly from the medical record/operative report
  • Assisting with tracking and trending coding issues and research of denied claims

Skills and Requirements Include:

  • AAPC or AHIMA Coding Certification required at time of hire
  • Minimum of 1 year physician procedural coding experience highly preferred
  • Successful completion of coding curriculum
  • EPIC experience preferred
