Job Summary
An academic publishing company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Professional Development Math Specialist.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Delivering professional development to teachers, coaches and leaders
- Serving as an ambassador for Curriculum Associates
- Helping school districts choose and implement a product with lasting impact on learning
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Willingness to travel.
- Bachelor’s degree and at least 2+ years of experience in teaching mathematics or
- Coaching teachers of mathematics, and providing mathematics professional development
- Strong working knowledge of the Common Core State Standard for Mathematics, Grades K-8
- Understand principles of adult learning and how to apply them to professional development
- High level of comfort discussing and applying data with teachers and leaders
