Job Summary
A healthcare services company is filling a position for a Remote Professional Fee E and M Neuro Surgery Coder.
Must be able to:
- Review medical records and assign pertinent diagnosis and procedure codes
- Meet coding productivity and accuracy expectations
- Abstract appropriate information from the medical record based on the guidelines provided by the client
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- One of these credentials from AHIMA or AAPC: RHIA, RHIT, CCS, CCS-P, CPC, COC, or CIC
- 1 or more years of recent coding experience in professional fee E&M Neuro Surgery coding
- Experience with EMR, multiple encoders and abstracting systems
- Top coding skills demonstrated by a pre-employment coding test
