Job Summary
An educational services company is seeking a Remote Professional Online Tutor.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Provide 35 hours of availability per week with a goal of averaging at least 28 hours of instruction per week
- Deliver exceptional instruction for students online both one-on-one and in small groups for academic subjects 4-10 hours per working day
- Create short individualized lesson plans for private tutoring students (Grades K-12 and potentially also college students) in a variety of academic subjects, in addition to SAT and ACT exam prep
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Ability to comfortably provide academic support to students on math concepts through the level of Algebra II
- Proficiency in all sections of the SAT/ACT in order to provide students with strong guidance and expertise
- Previous teaching experience and familiarity with the creation of lesson plans preferred
- Ability to work on the weekends (available for at least 8 hours worth of tutoring on Sundays within our prime-time hours)
- Ability to commit to full-time employment at least through December 2021
