Job Summary
We're looking for a curious, optimistic, and resourceful Project Manager with a team-player mentality that's equal parts assertive and collaborative. This Project Manager works as part of cross-functional project teams responsible for the delivery of the Internet Society's projects. The Project Manager will apply the appropriate project management processes, techniques, and tools to facilitate meetings, track progress, assess risk, and obtain input or consensus across teams.

This is position is for 2 year term.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
-Formulating and maintaining detailed project plans using our standardized project management software - Smartsheet;
-Work with Internet Society leaders to manage multiple projects with industry-standard best practices of project management;
-Keep a close eye on project performance, milestones, risks, deadlines, workflows, SOPs, scope creep and follow-through to recommend solutions and remove barriers;
-Create and maintain project dashboards in Smartsheet for leadership reporting.;
-Ensure projects meet internal reporting deadlines in an organized and streamlined manner;
-Schedule and attend project team calls to ensure that key roadblocks are removed, key milestones/deliverables are on track and action items are documented;
-Directly support Project Leaders with priority reminders, risk mitigation suggestions, and help removing roadblocks;
-Assist in drafting budget planning and quarterly reporting.
-Other duties as assigned

Desired Qualifications:
-Minimum 1 year of project management or coordinating experience; Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent certification is a plus.
-Thrives working in a fast-paced, multicultural environment and on challenging projects that require creativity in integrating and prioritizing workloads.
-Solid knowledge of Smartsheet and other Project Management tools.
-English fluency required; additional languages desired.
-Experience working with Global teams.
-Commitment to the Internet Society's mission, values and objectives.
-Experience working with a Globally distributed workforce and ability to work across time zone.
-Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability interact positively in a multicultural and multidisciplinary environment.
-Ability to travel as needed when travel resumes.
