Job Summary

A marketing services company has a current position open for a Remote Public Relations Manager in the New York City Area.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

• Initiating and responding quickly to inquiries from the news media
• Working on day-to-day account management
• Participating in the development of PR plans

Qualifications Include:

• 30% being spent in company office, and at client meetings or events
• A minimum of five years paid experience in public relations
• Strong media relations skills
• High comfort level with social media
• Possesses existing relationships with local and national media contacts
• Familiarity with Cision, Vocus or similar tools
