Job Summary

A chemical and petrochemical company needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Regional Chemical Buyer.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

• Initiate procurement buys not only to reduce costs but ensure continuity of supply & sources from suppliers who are innovated
• Managing all manufacturing plants as well as preferred supplier accounts, resolving issues regarding purchase orders
• Identifying solutions to capture economies of scale across all facilities while implementing & optimizing vendor managed inventory

Required Skills:

• Must have a broad understanding of procurement categories & commodities, capital expenditures
• Experience managing & negotiating vendor agreements
• Must have extensive experience in procurement and supply chain management in a manufacturing plant environment
