Job Summary

A health insurance company is in need of a Remote Registered Nurse Clinical Coding Analyst.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Review and interpret various codes
  • Perform coding quality checks in relation
  • Identify and determine code appropriateness

Qualifications for this position include:

  • Associate degree from an accredited college or university
  • Licensed Registered Nurse or foreign-trained medical school graduate
  • Current RHIT or coding certification from either AAPC, CPC, or AHIMA
  • Experience with physician and facility coding and billing of services
  • Medical Coding experience with CPT-4, HCPC, and ICD-10 applying coding guidelines on medical specialties
  • Up-to-date knowledge of healthcare regulatory, coding mandates and OIG work plan
