Job Summary
A patient-to-payment solutions company needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Registry Abstractor.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Consistently meeting and achieving abstracting accuracy rate of 95%
- Submitting data as required to the State Central Registry and National Cancer Database
- Participating in monthly conference calls and meetings
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Participate in new hire and annual quality reviews, onsite or remote
- College degree; course in medical terminology, anatomy and physiology required
- Certified Tumor Registrar (CTR)
- Active membership in the national and/or local cancer registrar association
- 3+ years varied experience in Cancer Registry
- Extensive experience with FORDS/STORES and AJCC Staging is required
