Job Summary
A software company is seeking a Remote Revenue Accounting Manager.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Reviewing customer contracts
- Providing guidance on deal structuring
- Preparing documentation and analyses related to selected customer contracts
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
- 7+ years in Public Accounting and/or Revenue Accounting and Reporting within software businesses
- Strong working knowledge of US GAAP with experience on ASC 606 Revenue from Contracts with Customers
- Well organized, detail-oriented team player with proven ability to multitask effectively and work independently
- Ability to present accounting rules and guidance in non-technical terms for non-financial professionals
- Strong MS Excel skills, including familiarity with complex formulas and large data sets
