Job Summary
A staffing agency is seeking a Remote Risk Adjustment Medical Coder in Baltimore.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Verifying and ensuring the accuracy, completeness, specificity and appropriateness of diagnosis codes
- Identifying, collecting, assessing, monitoring and documenting claims
- Reviewing medical record information to identify all appropriate coding based on CMS HCC categories
Skills and Requirements Include:
- At least 3 months of experience performing HCC Coding
- 2+ years of working as a medical coder
- Minimum of GED or High School Diploma is required and will be verified
- One of the following coding certifications through AHIMA / AAPC is required- CPC, COC, CCA, CCS, RHIA, or RHIT
- Technically savvy
