Job Summary

A staffing agency is in need of a Remote Risk Adjustment Medical Coder in Memphis.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

• Identifying, collecting, assessing, monitoring and documenting claims
• Verifying and ensuring the accuracy, completeness, specificity and appropriateness of codes
• Reviewing medical record information to identify all appropriate coding

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

• 2+ years of working as a certified medical coder
• Coding certification through AHIMA / AAPC
• Minimum of GED or High School Diploma is required and will be verified
• Excellent written verbal and communication skills
• Technically savvy
• High speed internet with good service available at your home
