Job Summary

A staffing agency is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote RPG Developer in Houston.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Analyzing end users' data needs and developing user-oriented solutions which interface with existing applications
  • Designing systems, programming and coordinating the review of specification, user sign-off process and the development of user manuals
  • Documenting technical requirements and data flow

Must meet the following requirements for consideration:

  • 5-7 years' experience as information technology developer
  • iSeries development experience using RPG Free, ILE, IV and CL
  • Must have worked with RPG Free in a production level environment
  • Extensive experience with advanced RPG development skills and techniques
  • Application experience with Financials, Sales Order Processing, Logistics and Inventory
