Job Summary
A financial software company is seeking a Remote Ruby on Rails Software Engineer.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Reviewing and testing your teammates pull requests
- Writing strong Ruby on Rails code daily
- Maintaining and updating our sales tax reporting application
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Ability to write clear and accurate tests using RSpec/Capybara
- 2-5 years production experience with: Rails 4, Postgres, Sidekiq
- Write code that is maintainable and readable by your team
- Be accountable for the code you deliver to production
- Prior SaaS development, API development or similar app dev experience
- Manage development tasks from assignment through to production
