Job Summary

an outsourced accounting agency needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Sales Tax Specialist Accountant.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

• Assisting with state and local tax research for our clients on specific sales and use tax-related topics
• Assisting with monitoring changes in sales and use tax nexus rules, policies, and state tax department positions
• Maintaining accurate tax compliance through the maintenance of sales tax automation software

Required Skills:

• Experience in an accounting-related position
• Strong knowledge of and experience with Excel
• Professional verbal and written communication skills and confidence to communicate with clients
• Takes accountability and responsibility for deliverables
• Accuracy, efficiency, and attention to detail
