Job Summary

An accredited university is in need of a Remote Security and Compliance Manager.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

• Managing the Security and Compliance Team including development of goals and work plans
• Serving as the primary liaison for Penn State IT with the Office of Information Security (OIS)
• Ensuring adherence to University standards established by OIS in areas

Required Skills:

• A deep understanding of system and network security principles, technologies, regulations, and strategies
• Bachelor’s Degree or higher plus four years of related experience
• Successful completion of standard background checks
• Excellent communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to effectively collaborate across organizational boundaries
