Job Summary

A global manufacturer of semiconductors has an open position for a Remote Semiconductor Field Application Engineer.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Driving design wins in target accounts
  • Leading proof of concept, solution design, and demonstrations
  • Synthesizing customer and competitive insights

Qualifications for this position include:

  • Willing to travel up to 50%
  • Several years of Field Application Engineering experience in the semiconductor industry
  • Experience in working at customer sites for debug and technical support
  • Proven record of developing hardware and software in various embedded environments and operating systems
  • Experience with C, C++, development for embedded systems
  • Proven knowledge of Linux distributions and deployment models
