Job Summary

A privately-held network of strategic medical and scientific communications agencies is seeking a Remote Senior Accountant.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

• Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable/billings, general ledger, fixed assets, month-end and year-end closing activities
• Ensure compliance with company processes and procedures through all departments
• Assist with financial reviews and audits

Qualifications for this position include:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
• Five to seven years of accounting experience
• Thorough knowledge of accounting procedures and an in-depth understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Ability to organize, analyze, interpret, and evaluate financial data in the solution of management and accounting problems
• Experience with general ledger function and the month-end and year-end close processes
