Job Summary

A consulting company is in need of a Remote Senior Accountant in Reno.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Managing the general ledger and posting all journal entries
  • Supporting outside auditors, tax preparers, and valuation teams
  • Administering employee benefits through coordination with employee benefit broker

Required Skills:

  • 4-10 years of accounting/bookkeeping experience
  • Degree in Accounting or related field
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and accrual-based accounting
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks and QuickBooks Online
  • Experience working with third-party payroll providers
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
