Job Summary

A healthcare company is seeking a Remote Senior Actuary.

Core Responsibilities Include:

• Becoming internal thought leader on analyzing the company’s risk position and risk strategies
• Developing novel ways of analyzing utilization and cost data to gain insights and inform the design of the company’s clinical programs and business strategy
• Executing and continuously improving on a robust process for estimating Incurred, but Not Reported (IBNR) claims costs

Skills and Requirements Include:

• 6+ years relevant experience
• Bachelor’s degree
• Substantial experience working with claims data / healthcare utilization and cost data
• Strong Excel and/or Google Sheets skills will be critical for aspects of the quantitative modeling and analyses
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
