A software firm is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Senior Automotive SoC IC IP Functional Safety Engineer in San Diego.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Collaborate on engineering services across all phases of the FuSa Life Cycle
  • Propose safety architecture and mechanisms for hardware and software architectures
  • Implement processes required for Safety Case development and certifications

Qualifications for this position include:

  • Possible Travel
  • B.Sc. or BSEE/MSEE
  • 5+ years of relevant working experience in safety case development
  • Experience in conducting in-depth analysis of failure modes and error detection
  • Worked in or with SOC development teams
