Job Summary

A software development company is in need of a Remote Senior Backend Engineer.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Improve our existing infrastructure
  • Build new system and features
  • Review code and add to our engineering culture

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience working as a backend engineer
  • Comfortable writing and debugging SQL, bonus points if it's PostgreSQL
  • Very experienced in your favorite programming language, and have at least some experience with Python
  • Are a collaborative builder and like to build systems with other engineers in mind
  • Know when to seek assistance, and it's typically to discuss tradeoffs
  • An excellent written and verbal communicator
